A CASL Food Pantry

Most CASL residents do not drive and rely on case managers to provide transportation to medical

appointments, community resources, and most importantly, grocery shopping. In the early months of the pandemic, due to stay at home orders, many clients could not easily access grocery stores anymore. To help alleviate this challenge, case managers did grocery shopping for clients, and CASL became a food drop site through All Faiths Food Bank and developed a pantry so clients could have ongoing access to healthy food options.

The pantry is managed by Shad Renick, Director of Quality Improvement and Client Safety. In partnership with case managers, weekly donations were converted into individual client donation bags and delivered to clients at their homes.

In addition to food items, CASL also purchased cleaning supplies and other household necessities to provide to new residents at Arbor Village.

In March of 2021, CASL became a formal Partner Agency with All Faiths Food Bank, which will allow us to enhance the variety of healthy food choices for our low-income clients.


We are excited for this new partnership and the positive impact it will have on improving quality of life for our clients!
