CASL'S COVID-19 RESPONSE

To our valued clients, donors, and supporters,

 

In these unique times, as we are all being impacted by the global crisis of COVID-19, we are committed to the health and safety of our clients and staff.  Our CASL team is following the guidance of global health experts at the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) on preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus. 

 

Multiple precautionary measures have been taken to limit the potential spread of the virus, to support our employees in this challenging time and to ensure we maintain our ability to serve our clients. In addition to encouraging frequent hand washing, surface sanitizing, and social distancing, measures also include the following:

 

  • Renaissance Manor is adhering AHCA’s guidelines, and only essential personnel are allowed in or out of the facility. We recognize this is a challenge for residents and their families, and appreciate everyone’s cooperation and understanding, as it is for the health and safety of everyone at Renaissance Manor;

  • We are partnering with medical and mental health providers to increase telemedicine access for all clients, and ensuring all clients are knowledgeable about the resources available if they exhibit symptoms.

  • Case managers are still providing supports to clients. However, we are increasing telephonic support and adhering to distancing guidelines when conducting in-home visits.

  • Arbor Village move-ins started on Monday, March 16th. The leasing process is happening on a one-on-one basis, instead of in larger groups. Move-ins will continue through the rest of the month.

 

We will continue to monitor local, state, and national guidelines and adapt our operations as necessary. Our mission is of the utmost importance, especially in a time of uncertainty. While we don’t know the full financial implications this pandemic will have on our operations yet, we know the impact is inevitable.
